Hello from sunny Devon (!?!)
Hi all. I was taught to crochet by my Nan about 25 years ago, but apart from a large number of granny squares that became a blanket (that is now on my sisters sofa!), I didn't achieve much.
I started crocheting again early last year, and I don't think I've stopped since. My sister says that I have been prolific in fact. I have made...
9 hats
6 cardigans
3 ponchos
and even more granny squares!
I have just started the Crystal Lace Bolero pattern from this site, although I hope to adapt it with longer sleeves.
I think I'll leave it at that for now.

Yes,crochet is addictive isn't it!
Wow! You HAVE become prolific! Welcome.
Impressive output! Maybe you can inspire me to greater sticktoitiveness. Do you have a secret?
Hello from an equally "sunny" Somerset!
(OK, drizzly is a far better description, but we can pretend ;) )
Wow, you sound just like me! (And ironic thing is my name is Devon -LOL!)
Nana taught me about 25 years ago as well, and all I managed then were the shoelaces for the slippers she'd make for everyone. I picked up the hook again a few months ago and haven't been able to put it down. I made 15 hat and scarf sets for Christmas, an afgan, and now I'm halfway through a cardigan. My boyfriend laughs at me because I can't put it down. He thinks I'm weird. hehehe
