hdc closed together??
Hi everybody
i recently learned how to read chart patterns and am trying to make a necklace from the chart only. there is one symbol and description i have never seen before. although i can't show the symbol it says 2 half double crochet closed together. can any one help? thanks
Here's a guess - it's a cluster of 2 hdc, a rather puffy stitch. You work one hdc up to the point of finishing it, then start another hdc up to the point of finishing the second one, then draw a loop through all the loops on your hook. That closes them, and the close is done together.
Experiment with likely stitches either on what you are making or on a swatch until you can match the photo.
