Hi everyone,

I really enjoy watching Samantha Brown's Passport to Europe (a show on the Travel Channel where a travel journalist, Samantha Brown, takes you to all the major cities of Europe). About a year ago I was watching her travels through Greece. I couldn't help noticing all the crochet garments the Greeks were wearing; all of it was so beautiful and intricate. I also noticed women, right in the streets, with their hooks and yarns and crocheting up a storm!

Is Greece known for crocheted textiles? It was simply fascinating watching the show and I would love to take a look at some "native Greek" crochet patterns and designs. Have any recommendations or sources?
