Finished a hat!!!

Categorized As:

Hi again!!!!

I just wanted to share that I finished a cute little hat for myself last nite. I'm so proud of myself!! I used a the hexagon hat pattern from the Melody Griffith's book 201 Crochet Motifs, Blocks, Projects & Ideas book. Ok, the reason I am so happy is because I have a very small head, like a child really, so making hats can sometimes be a royal pain. But I did it by decreasing as I went along & it fits nice & snug. Customizing is fun!! I did however make one mistake....I forgot to slip stitch so the rolled brim isn't even. No worries though!! I added a small flower to the mismatched area & it looks fine. I will take some photos soon to share with all of you!!

Happy stitching!!
