Has anyone here ever actually bought/sold anything on Etsy? I'm tempted to start up an Etsy site but I'm worried that it might be a waste of time.

I don't have the answer, but I have been wondering the same thing. I'll be curous what others have to say.

I run an etsy shop at yarnigans.etsy.com and I shop at other shops all the time. I've had my store for a little over 2 years and it's done great. I highly recommend it, it's a lot of fun, and doesn't take up much time.

I agree. I have a new shop set up on etsy and its easy and fun, too.

HI have done quite well from my Etsy shop with my artwork, and am planning on adding crochet to another shop there.

Hi~ I am a newbie here, just joined this morning!
I have a store on ebay and etsy. I have been selling on ebay for over 4 yrs and just opened the etsy store last month. It is easy to open the etsy store, the fees are so much lower, no auctions-just your set price, and the listings are for 4 months at a time, until the item sells.
I am looking forward to adding more items in the next couple of weeks~~after school is out, graduation,etc--lol!
