Hello,
Are there any Edmonton, AB area crocheters interested in meeting at a coffee shop to chat and do some hooking? Or do you know of an existing crochet group/guild that meets? I spend way to much time in my basement suit crocheting alone.
I'm local, but I work pretty long hours, so getting out for an evening has not happened yet. However, I do know that River City yarns has a Knit night and they do welcome knitters and crocheters. Give that a try.
When I get out from under, and am able to work in a flex day, which is what I aim to do soon, I'll look for you, maybe we could arrange something.
In summer I go down at the Capilano park, to knit and crochet or whatever else I have with me.

I am Grad student, and a new mom. I have been crocheting off and on since I learned from my Aunt when I was 8 but a few years ago I started crocheting constantly. As with my quilting/sewing, I have at least three different projects on the go and dozen other projects I am dreaming of doing.
