Dougs and Gordos

Over the christmas holidays I finished 2 Dougs and 2 Gordos from the Crochet Me book. They turned out pretty well I think. I had hoped to experiment with different hats but simply ran out of time. The blue guy did end up with a hat even though the pics didn't show it. Thanks Kim for your advice on how to do the hats!

The pattern includes the white part of the eyes. In the book they have plastic doll eyes but due to the age of the kids i opted not to use them. Instead I just used crochet thread to create the coloured iris.
