awesome rug pattern by Donna Hulka from the fabulous Crochet Me book! I use oak bark, lichen and pine needles to get these earthy colors. The lichen dye makes the yarn smell divine - like sleepy kitty cats!
Wah! I can't seem to get that phot on there. I tried both ways with the code and with the rich text method. help!
If you wnt to see the picture, go to my profile page and go to my flickr photos scratch that, looks like my boyfriend figured it out!
mad for crochet!
Beautiful, this rug is on my list, too! I love your use of natural dyes, I do alot of hiking and I am often stopped in my tracks by the amazing colors and textures of lichen, moss, bark, and lovely plants out on the trail. I'm always looking for ways to surround my life in the city with the same things...thanks for one more idea!

In my free time this winter I experimented a lot with dyeing yarn with natural stuff like oak bark and pine needles. The colors from nature are so alive! I've been crocheting for several years now - took to it with a vengeance! When I am not hookin, I take care of the rich people's gardens out here on this rock in the sea.

Great colors, and good-smelling too!
The picture is there for me, with a vengeance. It's wider than the screen.

Love, love, love the rug! Gorgeous colors. I just might have to try making one myself :).
