default avatar not showing up?

I created a default avatar that will show up for users who haven't uploaded one for themselves. I put the path in the settings page (http://beta.crochetme.com/admin/user/settings) but it's not showing up. My assumption is that it would show up both on a user's profile page, and also wherever users are listed (like in the "new users" block).

Any ideas?

Well, it does seem to be showing up in the "About" box in the interior sidebar, on content associated with the user. Hm.

I don't know how this stuff is set up... but the profile pages and the "index" pages are custom scripting, which is why they aren't showing the default icon. I'll see if I can figure it out...

I think I have this working now. Please let me know if there are pages where this isn't the case. I have to update them from being a hard-coded variable (which seems counter-intuitive that a variable is hard coded) to being a "themed user profile image." I'll set this to resolved in the mean time.
