Avatar vs. text link for crocheters on index pages

Categorized As:

The avatar image for a crocheter—as displayed on an index page—links to that crocheter's profile page (e.g. /crocheters/kim). The text name of the crocheter, though, links to, e.g., /crocheters/28. The latter produces a 404.

(This isn't a problem for patterns. Though on the Tips index page, the links on both the thumbnails and corresponding text link to the node/# URL, not the human-readable URL. This isn't a big problem, since the links work, it's just a factor of consistency, though it does lead me to be concerned that the path alias for tips isn't automatically being generated. ETA: This only seems to be the case for the buttonhole tip; I just created a test tip and the URL was generated correctly.)

*grin* Two problems == two bugs == two separate reports in the bug area. (I can still see them even when you put the second one in brackets.)

First problem: appears to be resolved now. I had to update the links for each of the blocks. I've found four that were incorrect, let me know if I've missed any.

Second problem: this is to do with pathauto generation. I can't (backwards) auto-generate aliases without messing up the stuff that's right. I believe there's one or two patterns, and the tips that don't have the aliases. Everything should get the correct aliases on creation from now on though.
