Late this past winter, I got online with a new computer, found Crochet Me, & discovered the joys of Amigurumi.
During that time, a friend was going through a bad patch & I thought that I'd whip something up to lift her spirits.
The pattern is Bethany Hall's Amigurumi Style Pug. I used eyelash yarn with a matching wool as I was considering felting it. (yikes!)
The finished model doesn't really look like a golden retriever; more like a poodle. But it did it's job: she was thrilled.
