Hey Everyone! I'm Patrice. I've been crocheting for (mumble, mumble) years, since I was a kid. I believe it was my Aunt Vi who taught me how to crochet (Mom taught me knitting, embroidery, and sewing). I've crocheted mostly garments over the years, although I've also done afghans too.

I just started felting about a month ago and can't seem to stop. Just moved to Hawaii in late January. Lots of yarn stores here. I'm involved with a group called, Aloha Knitters, which includes crocheters and spinners as well. Having a ball in Paradise.

Hey 123H! We're next door neighbors! I walk Kailua Beach often. You're three years here? You're kama 'aina for sure, ya?

I moved here to be close to my daughter, Adrienne. She came here in 99 to go to college - HPU. A few years later she told me she wasn't coming back to DC. She's my one and only, and without immediate family ties to keep me on the east coast, I decided to take the plunge and move. And I'm glad I did. We should "hook up."

that's sweet! that's a good reason to move.
i'm here because of the army, so I don't know how local that makes me.
im actually from the east coast myself, last place i lived was in NC. i have a complicated moving history, about 9 times now, and that 3 years here is atcually cumulative of two seperate times living in HI :D. I actually have spent more time in the south than here, lol. so, same side of the US!

that'd be cool to get together, ive actually found a few crocheters at school but theres just not enough of us!
