Cool! I like the idea of using big chunky beads for the handle on the brown one.

I made one of these with pink cotton and black oval handles and was looking for other ideas for handles. I love that you made the hadles for the purple one and it turned out beautiful. Do you think the lining is a necessity in these bags or is the stiching tight enough to leave it out? On the brown bag did you skip the last few rows of the top were you are supposed to wrap it around the handle so you could add the beads as your handle?

I've made all my bags with 2 strands of yarn together so I think that lining could have been optional but they look so cute! and on the brown bag I did leave off the last few rows on top because the handles were different.

These bags are gorgeous! I can't believe they are handmade. I like the color choice, the crochet pattern, the wooden handles... I want to learn how to crochet drawstring bags, it looks like I am in the right place for this.
