My best friend taught me to crochet when we were 9 or 10 by making granny squares with scrap yarn and a bright orange hook. Since then I have been by turns a prolific crocheter and someone who 'used to do that'. I am currently in the prolific stage, and loving it. I really enjoy making original items (because I get bored easily) but am trying to get better about writing the patterns down so I can share (or remember how to do it in two weeks). I have an addiction to yarn and the collection to prove it, a secret crush on the hand dyed organic type fibers, and (unfortunatley) an "Acrylic Only" budget. This is my curse.
