I learned to crochet when I was about 12 one summer with my grandmother. I had a skein of beige Red Heart acrylic yarn and a G Hook. All I could do was a chain stitch. I had a necklace, jump rope, belt, headband, ring, bracelet; you get the idea =) After the summer I didn’t pick it up again until Freshman year of college but was unable to get the hang of it. Right after my birthday in May I decided to pick it up again and give it a try and this time it clicked! My first project was a pink thread crochet bookmark. It suited me well; practical, concise, and pretty. I haven’t been able to stop since then. I currently work in healthcare, I’m majoring in Health Science Administration, and have a wonderful fiance. I share a studio apartment in Baltimore with my adorable guinea pig.
