About Me
I've been crocheting since about age 8 when my aunt Hazel taught me (I'm now over 50, so you do the math). I make up my own patterns since I almost never buy yarn - I spin my own from my pet Shetland sheep. I also use recycled yarns from thrift shop sweaters (cotton, linen, ramie & silk). My inspirations come in large part from ethnic textiles, especially Scandinavian & South American knits and weavings and Guatemalan crochet.
