I'm fascinated by weird things, old things, ugly things, unwanted things, things in general, colorful things. Anything antique. Things found in thrift stores and flea markets and garage/yard sales. And I like to make stuff out of those things. Crocheting has been helping me keep my mind intact since I was ten. I've been toying around with The Crochet Stitch Bible by Betty Barnden as of late. It's opening my eyes to the many possibilities of a simple skein of yarn. I don't like to ever throw yarn away. I impulsively "rescue" all the stray balls of yarn at thrift stores.
