I picked up knitting to quit smoking (since July 19, 2006) but my thumbs would begin to ache badly before I could finish a project so I bought a Dummies book and taught myself to crochet lefthanded and I haven't stopped since...my newest obsession is crocheting the perfect "u.b. funkey" for my kids. Crochetme.com is the one site I have visited more often than Crochet Pattern Central or any other for patterns, tips and tricks, for amigurumi. Now I've joined. My other obsession is looming...if not painting and making jewelry...
