I am a fashion designer, pattern-maker and dressmaker (amongst other things) who specialises in custom fitting and wedding gowns/evening wear but I've always been interested in crafts as well as knitting. My mother has always been a big crochet fan and says she just can't knit We've never really crossed over until two years ago. I tried crochet for the first time and now I can't imagine knitting. I've crocheted far more than I have ever knitted in my whole life. I absolutely love it. I don't know why I never tried it before. Both my grandmothers crochet and don't knit. I do have a "proper" day job too. I'm a Web Designer/Developer/SEO with a Computer Science Degree. I do freelance as well if anyone is interested. I do great PHP mods, DB access scripts and reports and Flash Animation.
