Years ago, my grandma taught me how to crochet and knit. I prefer crochet, as so much of what we wore back in the 60's was worked in crochet. And of course, my grandma taught me the European style, as opposed to what my mother learned (Continental). Many arguments ensued as a result. Now that I'm a "Gammaw" I've returned to this obsessive pastime. And since my mother has passed on, I'm once again a happy hooker. :-)
