hi! im Chula, or thats what my hubby calls me=) it means pretty girl in Spanish. I'm a married, stay at home mom with one child and in my mid-twenties. im also an illustrator, i work mostly with digital painting. I remember learning the chain when i was really young, one of my aunts (see profile pic) taught me how to do it. not understanding the wonderful world of crochet at the time, it stayed in my memory for ever. when we decided that i would stay home with my little guy, i started picking up different hobbies here and there, I'm pretty crafty by nature so big and prego i would take my daily walks to the local craft store. i decided to pick up knitting, and i loved it. but in my learn-how-to-knit kit was a red hook. knowing what it was for but never diving in to the crochet world i did some research online, and spoke to my mom, and i learn that it was in my blood to crochet. my aunts and grandmother before me all crocheted, except for my mom, ugh. not getting in to that but, I'm proud to say that a few months ago i picked up that red hook and now its getting hard to put it down. i love it, i know i have a lot to learn, and I'm excited!
