Crocheted guns
Flickr user Inger Carina's caption to this photo of her lace-crochet work is, "For the record; I don't like guns."

I love the juxtaposition of fine lace and firearms, and I imagine it's a meaningful one whether you're a fan of guns or not (I'm not).

Do you ever find yourself compelled to express your opinions through your crochet work? What's your take on Carina's?

This is amazing, do you offer a pattern for this? My brother would love it. Thank you..

This isn't my work; you'll have to contact the artist (linked to above). As it's an art piece, though, I doubt she has a pattern for it.

Absolutely Beautiful.

I have fell in love with your lace work.

What a book you would put out on Western Attire & Crochet. How wonderful you are.

I have drove the family nuts with horses and westerns since i have been around 2 yrs. old.

I was raised up on Westerns with Grandma & Pop.
Grampe surprised me with my 1st. horse when i was in grade school. Haven't changed to this day.

The Western Channel is on My Darling Clemintine [1946] with Henry Fonda as Wyatt Earp at this moment.

I can imagine this piece hanging on the wall in a Western with a caption Cowgirls do wear Lace.

Thank you for sharing your lovely work.

Happy Thankgiving and a very Blessed Christmas.
