My Fingers Are Raw
Ok. Maybe not. But my wrists are sore and my brain is mush. I think it's the incredible awesometude of this issue that's the reason it's taking so long to put it together. It's really, really coming. No later than early Friday morning. I promise!
FYI: This issue's soundtrack includes: Beck (Sea Change), Alexi Murdoch, The Weepies, Thom Yorke, and Broken Social Scene. (Except, not entirely. I downloaded the BSS cd because I want to be a good Canadian and everyone I know loves them. Truth is, though, I keep skipping their songs cuz I don't like them very much.) I'll do my best to up the tempo tomorrow. Promise. But I can't say I'm ready to give up the Beck tunes yet. Or Thom Yorke.
And in case you were wondering, I had a dream the other night that Beck was my boyfriend.
Update: There's a chance the issue won't be up till Friday night. Eeek!

Might I add that I listened to Jane's Addiction when writing my piece. I'd love to know what everyone else listend to/ watched while working on their contributions.
While I crocheted, I listened to Harry Potter and Watched Veronica Mars from Netflix. What can I say, I'm predictable. I usually don't have music going while I'm writing.
wow, Amy! Super multitasking!
I've listened to Aqualung a bo-jillion times lately while writing. And the British versions of Harry Potter on itunes. They use a different reader, and our Americanized words like "dessert" and "studying" become "pudding" and "revising." Makes me long for some baked beans and spam.
the Thom Yorke album is fabulous! I need to listen to it again (and again!)
It IS a good issue! I usually watch something on americafree.tv when I write patterns, otherwise, I listen to iTunes on shuffle. I've been downloading a lot of myspace-people's tracks -- there are a lot of talented unsigned musicians there!
I think I was listening to Rage Against the Machine when the original idea was coming to fruition... :) A little Renegades of Funk.
music: Chemical Bros. Fatboy Slim
tv: Wife Swap, SuperNanny, and SuperNova
Best music to listen to while creating...iTunes iMix called "BEST CHILL MIX ON THE PLANET"
