Ice-Blue Ribbon Mid-Issue Sweater
By the looks of the Interweave Crochet fall issue preview, it would seem that Annette has been playing a lot lately with combining knitting and crochet. Lucky for us, please allow me to present Ice-Blue Ribbon, a summer-weight sweater made from ribbon yarn, with a knitted body and crocheted sleeves and trim. Enjoy!
And a huge congratulations to Annette for her IC patterns!

That's very nice. I'm not the biggest fan of ribbon yarn, but I'll check out what's on sale, and give it a try.
I hear you, Vera. The CP Mikado yarn that's suggested as a substitute for this pattern is actually the only ribbon yarn I've enjoyed crocheting with (I've never knitted it). No splitting, and it looks fantastic in crochet.
Ooh--pretty--and its great to see more crochet designers showing up in IWC!
Hi,
I just love this sweater. Great job, I will have to check out the ribbon yarn, next time I hit the city...
