Catching Up
My, so much has been going on and I've been too caught up in work and life to keep up with it on the blog. Here's a wee recap:
- Beyond the runway, crochet and knitting are popping up in high-end industrial design, too.
- Robyn has written a post (with lots of photos!) to address common questions about the Crystal Lace Bolero.
- Vashti wrote up some tips on making the most of National Crochet Month (this month, yo).
- Mr Cme and I have been married for five years. We celebrated this weekend with a delicious meal and a few hours of Dance Dance Revolution (thanks J and K!).

We Pipers miss you! I, too, was amazed that Kim "looked like a girl" for her wedding. I always figured she would opt for white overalls. When she asked if I wanted to join her in having make-up done, I almost fainted!

I'll have you all know that although I do love me some jeans, the skirt is currently my preferred bottom of choice. Not only that, but a couple of weeks ago when I was desperate for some retail therapy I went -- wait for it -- shoe shopping. And in addition to some sporty slip-ons for walking the dog, I got the cutest pair of peep-toe 1" heels. Yes, I needed them. But that doesn't mean they're not adorable. It took me a decade longer than many, but I've got my own little style goin', thankyouverymuch.
