Apparently Beyonce and Jay-Z just laid down $40K for a white crochet chair by Dutch designer Marcel Wanders. The chair looks pretty wicked (as does a lot of the stuff shown on Wanders' website). Ah, to have $40K sitting around for home dec projects...

Correction! Sofia Hayat wore a Van der Haer dress designed by Charlotte Richardson who also attended "The Holiday" premiere with Ms. Hayat aged 30, December 5th 2006.
