Creating Awesomeness Even in the Simplest Projects

Sister Diane just linked to these potholders by Flickr user amorabrancasilvestre.
See? Even potholders can be outstanding. It's been a long time since I've felt so inspired!
UPDATE: The pattern for these is free. It's called the Starburst Hotpad, by Loretta Schepp. Thanks to yarnity for digging it up!

I love that pattern! It's one of my favorites, so quick and easy. I did a ton of those last Christmas as my Mom had requested some potholders/hotpads for her staff for Christmas.
Oh, awesome. Where's the pattern from?

Your title for this post makes a great motto! That is exactly what I want to remember to strive for: create awesomeness in even the simplest projects! I have printed this out to post prominently as a reminder to myself.
(And those *are* really cool potholders. I would also love to know where the pattern is from.)
Have a great day, Jennifer
This pattern is absolutely gorgeous. I too would love to try making this. Where did you get this pattern?

I saw this pattern on ravelry. It was through the European crochet group. Just go through their posted projects. I think it is the color combinations that really make these sing. So awesome.
To hookX3, thanks for the tip that the pattern is on Ravelry. I found it easily by searching in patterns there. It is called the Starburst Hotpad and was designed by Loretta Schepp. Hope this further info will help any others who want to find it. It is a free pattern.
