Copyright: It's Steamrolling My To-Do List
I received an email yesterday that has effectively thrown me dramatically off-course in managing my to-do list.
Copyright has been a topic of fascination for me since I started reading up on it when I launched this site. The subtle nuances of the laws surrounding it combined with the major impact it has on our society make for an issue that tickles my brain in ways I've missed since leaving grad school.
I've been reading sites and having discussions since yesterday evening, and although I'm forcing myself to get back to the to-do list, I'll be writing more on it in coming days and weeks.
As a teaser, and to serve as a reminder to myself when I next visit this topic, I'll leave you with one word: innovation.

Innovation. Hmmm. I look forward to hearing what you have to say. Copyright is certaining an interesting issue in the crochet community (or any community, I assume).
Will you be discussing the potentially impending "Orphan's Law?"
You betcha. The panic over the proposed legislation is what got me going. More soon...
This is such an important topic. I want to get the facts straight. I teach crochet and I don't want to step on any copyright toes.
