Behind the Scenes of the Fall 2009 Photo Shoot

The morning of the photo shoot dawned crisp, cool and a little bit foggy. I had, unfortunately, not taken the time to check the weather, but the day before had begun cool and quickly warmed to a sizzling 90 something degrees. Erroneously assuming today would be equally as warm, I dressed in shorts, a t-shirt, and sandals. I did bring a jacket for the morning. Needless to say the day only warmed marginally and never reached shorts and sandals weather. The chilly weather caused the hair stylist to don the winter coat stored in my trunk and the stylist and I were forced to concoct this charming outfit to keep myself from freezing.

That is the joy of the photo shoots—the unexpected bloopers, stories, and beauties. I have compiled a few more photos of the events of the day—the crazy hectic periods, the brief down times when you catch just a snatch of relaxation. The two days of the photo shoot are a joy, and I am happy I can share them with you. Check out the preview of the Fall 2009 issue of Interweave Crochet for yourself to see the beautiful images we created.
