Another Idea for my Project Notebook
Another Idea for My Project Notebook
In last week's newsletter I extolled the virtues of a crochet project notebook. I'm a fairly recent convert to the project notebook, but I'm hooked. Recently I found an old pair of sandals from several Summers past. They had not been worn but a time or two; they were bland. So I pulled out the trusty Harmony Guide: Crochet Stitch Motifs, grabbed a pencil and my project notebook, and let my imagination go. Please ignore my horrible drawing skills.

They aren't finished yet, but here is a sneak peek at my new, adorned sandals.

Best wishes,
Toni

Brilliant! I did this with my own flip flops once, but I think I like yours better. ^_^ http://farm2.static.flickr.com/1033/859942304_8a18feb626_b.jpg
I love your flip flops. They are a more casual style while I was going for something a little dressier with this pair.
You have inspired me to 'keep' a crochet notebook also! I just love the idea of being able to jot down thoughts, fragments, key ideas along with actual snippets of yarn, etc....
But oh. my. I looooove your gorgeous sandals. Talk about upper-end, exclusive & so incredibly stylish!
Classy look & idea - also love the notebook idea as well...
I blogged about my notebook here: http://designingvashti.blogspot.com/2009/05/how-to-journal-about-your-cr...
I love seeing how people journal about their crochet projects!
Thanks Toni,
