Chicago Crochet

An article in today's Sun-Times highlights the work of Chicago crochet designers Di-O and Double Stitch. The well-written article makes me dream of all that's possible, but the photos on the designers' sites make me drool.

I'm still waiting for the slide show to finish loading (I'm on dialup), but it's worth it. Beautiful designs. Coincidentally, I bought a copy of Vogue about an hour ago and have seen so many inspiring clothing designs. Not crocheted, but with elements that would be perfect in crochet.

OMG! I am sitting here just stunned. Those designs were extraordinary! I'm so inspired! I love the diversity of the models and that they all looked soooo fab! The bridal pieces were really unique. What a cool QT video! I feel challenged. Thanks for the link, Kim!
